2nd Division Relegated Side VfL Osnabrück Reacts to Poor Season Start in 3rd Football League
2nd division relegated side VfL Osnabrück has responded to their poor start in the 3rd football league by strengthening their midfield. The Lower Saxony team has signed 22-year-old Bryang Kayo from FC Ingolstadt on loan with an option to buy. The club announced this on Wednesday. In recent days, Ba-Muaka Simakala (Holstein Kiel) and Kofi Amoako (VfL Wolfsburg) have also joined Osnabrück.
The American Kayo is praised for his "power, dynamism, and robustness. He's an important piece of the puzzle that we've been missing in central midfield," said sports director Philipp Kaufmann. VfL has lost their first two league games against SV Sandhausen (0:1) and Erzgebirge Aue (0:2) and will now face Bundesliga side SC Freiburg in the DFB-Pokal on Saturday.
Osnabrück, hailing from Lower Saxony, has boosted their squad by acquiring Bryang Kayo on loan from FC Ingolstadt with a buyout option. Additionally, Ba-Muaka Simakala from Holstein Kiel and Kofi Amoako from VfL Wolfsburg have also joined the Lower Saxony team.
