The French midfielder Skelly Alvero might be making Werder Bremen his permanent home after reportedly striking a deal with the Bundesliga side. Skelly was initially at Olympique Lyon but went to Bremen in January on a loan agreement last season. The agreement came after his move from FC Sochaux.

According to French sports daily "L'Equipe," the 22-year-old will join Bremen permanently for a price tag of €5 million. Alvero made six outings and scored one goal during his time with Bremen. Yet, since early April, he's been out with a muscle injury followed by a shoulder issue, affecting his chances of playing.
