After a hot summer week and heavy rains over the weekend, people in Hessen need to prepare for a rainy week with temperatures around 19 degrees. According to the German Weather Service on Monday, the highest temperatures will range from 16 to 21 degrees all week, with temperatures in the mountains around 15 degrees. On Monday, short thunderstorms cannot be completely ruled out. It will then rain continuously on Tuesday. The sun remains hidden behind a thick cloud cover. On Wednesday, it will remain dry in the morning, but there is a possibility of light rain in some areas in the afternoon. According to expert forecasts, there will be heavy rain on Thursday, with strong to stormy gales in higher altitudes.

The heavy rains during the weekend's summer week significantly contributed to the ongoing weather concerns in Hesse. DWD predicts that the upcoming week will primarily be marked by rain, with Frankfurt am Main experiencing temperatures around 19 degrees. The German Weather Service warns of possible thunderstorms on Monday, potentially escalating into short storms.
