Timetable change - New train services on long-distance routes for Brandenburgers

From next Sunday, more long-distance trains are to stop in some Brandenburg towns with the timetable change. An Intercity train will now run from Magdeburg via Wittenberge in Brandenburg to Hamburg and back to Magdeburg from Monday to Saturday, Deutsche Bahn announced on Wednesday. A third Intercity train per day and direction will also run between Berlin, Potsdam, Brandenburg and Magdeburg in future. However, a night-time IC train that previously ran from Berlin to Austria will no longer stop in Frankfurt (Oder).
