Justice - New president for the district court in Halle
Helen Engelhard is the new president of the district court in Halle. The 55-year-old has taken over from Josef Peter Weber, who retired in the summer after 16 years as president of the local court, the Ministry of Justice announced in Magdeburg on Monday.
Helen Engelhardt was born in Schleswig-Holstein. After studying law, she joined the judiciary in Saxony-Anhalt in 1995. She has worked as a judge at the Halle-Saalkreis district court, as a consultant at the Ministry of Justice and as a judge at the Naumburg Higher Regional Court. She is now returning to Halle.
