In Stuttgart, a man's facing a murder trial at the district court following a lethal shot from a short-barreled shotgun fired at his neighbor. He stands accused of killing a 45-year-old neighbor on his balcony in mid-December last year. The incident is believed to have been provoked by a personal feud, as per prosecution.

The suspect reportedly shot his neighbor from just a few meters away using a shotgun with a sawed-off barrel, covered in rags. The firearm, along with other unlawfully possessed weapons and ammunition, was discovered in the possession of a Greek national, according to the charges. It remains uncertain if this man will be imprisoned if convicted. The question of his liability, possibly due to mental illness or psychological issues, may be examined during the trial.

The shooting incident allegedly occurred in the Rot neighborhood, where the suspect's unit isn't far from the victim's. The conflict reportedly arose out of a neighborhood disagreement.
