Tourism - MV focuses on "wow effects" with new advertising campaign
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern wants to advertise itself with a new campaign. Together with a Rostock agency, the state marketing department has developed corresponding motifs, the state chancellery in Schwerin announced on Wednesday. Impressive photos of nature in the north-east, for example, are accompanied by the recurring slogan "#MVwow", as can be seen in the press release from Schwerin. "We are achieving wow effects," said State Chancellery Head Patrick Dahlemann (SPD) with conviction.
One motif, for example, is a picture of numerous flying cranes against a reddish sky with the title "Our Rush Hour". The well-known statement "MV is good for you" is also still part of the campaign.
According to Dahlemann, the first six motifs will initially be displayed in public spaces in Berlin and Hamburg and act as an invitation to MV. The new campaign will also be played out in Rostock and Schwerin. In spring, it will be placed in Central Germany and Hesse, among other places. The state also wants to present itself with the motifs at the Green Week.
