Photographer from AFP spotted the impact of the conflict in Kiryat Shmona, Israel. The city's northern areas had been emptied due to the ongoing war between the Israeli military and the Lebanese Hezbollah group.

The Israeli military sought additional assistance for their firefighting efforts. Six reservists faced minor injuries during the clash. There were no concerns about casualties from the fires.

As per Lebanese news agency NNA, blazes were also reported at the crossings of Dhayr and Alma al-Shab. Residents of a residential area were in danger on Tuesday, allegedly because of "Israeli phosphorus incendiary grenades."

The region faced a high-risk fire situation due to the increased temperatures. Further escalation of the ongoing attacks by both sides posed an additional threat. Recent casualties included a Lebanese motorcyclist killed by an Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon on Tuesday.

The escalating tensions between Israel and the Hezbollah militia in Lebanon date back to the beginning of the Gaza war between Israel and Hamas on October 7. The Shiite militia, supported by Iran, has been exchanging daily shelling with Israeli forces at the Lebanese border. Hezbollah is allied with Hamas, which had initiated the intense attacks against Israel.
