Written by Jerry Seinfeld, directed, co-produced, and starring Seinfeld himself, this comedy is the fascinating story of how Pop-Tarts, America's beloved rectangular breakfast snack, came to be. Set in Michigan in 1963, Unfrosted highlights the intense rivalry between breakfast powerhouses Kellogg's and Post, who are both competing to create and market a pastry for the masses before the other company steals their thunder.

Atlas

In Atlas, Jennifer Lopez takes on AI. She portrays agent Atlas Shepard, a funny, tough warrior committed to chasing down rogue artificial intelligence named Harlan. Stranded on a remote planet with her life on the line, J-Lo is forced to work with a computer program, Smith, to make it out alive. Both characters are complete opposites just like in Odd Couple, making their partnership challenging. I didn't expect to read "Jennifer Lopez plays a 1980s sci-fi action hero going after supercomputers," but now that I know, it totally makes sense.

Eric

Benedict Cumberbatch stars in this suspenseful series created by BAFTA and Emmy-winning writer Abi Morgan. Cumberbatch portrays Vincent, the creator of the massively popular kids' show Good Day Sunshine. However, a series of tragic events involving the unexplained disappearance of his nine-year-old child shatter his world, leading to feelings of guilt, wrath, and insanity. According to Morgan, "Eric is a dark and crazy exploration into the heart of 1980s New York and the various aspects of Vincent – the good, the bad, and the ugly." I'm intrigued.

Power

Though Netflix's most talked-about shows this month are comedies and historical dramas, there's a seriously significant documentary that challenges our relationship with law enforcement - Power. Multi-Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Yance Ford directs Power, which questions whether people or police are more powerful, digging deep into the history of policing and the issue of oppression.

The Tom Brady Roast

Tom Brady, a former Patriots quarterback, may have missed out on some good-natured teasing while playing, but he can't hide from the world's top comedians! Comedians Jeff Ross and Kevin Hart and a squad of their fellow jokers join forces to crack jokes targeted at Brady in this live, uncensored show. There are no safety helmets for emotions, so be prepared for a night of stinging insults and non-stop laughter.

Secrets of the Neanderthals

In this investigative documentary, narrated by renowned actor Patrick Stewart, our past's enigmatic Neanderthals are investigated as scientists wonder, "What were the Neanderthals hiding for 300,000 years?" The journey uncovers evidence, examines fossil records, and consults leading experts in the field to shed light on the curious human-like creatures.

The hacking scandal didn't only impact the business owners; the lives of millions of users on the site, including entertainers, politicians, and other public figures, were also affected. The documentary Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies & Scandal unearths the gritty, scandal-filled tale of the site, but doesn't shy away from the emotional devastation it caused.

Dancing with the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult

Although few details have been released about this upcoming original documentary Dancing with the Devil: The 7M TikTok Cult, according to co-creator Katie Paulson, it shines a spotlight on the "exploitation that occurs in Hollywood," focusing on the shady individuals who take advantage of "talented dancers and entertainers." Legal battles could halt the documentary, but my curiosity as an ardent fan of cult-related documentaries demands that I watch it.

I'm really into nature documentaries, so I'm looking forward to this British movie that follows the lives of a pair of leopard cubs from birth to maturity. "Living with Leopards" promises a close-up and personal look at the growth of these breathtaking creatures on our planet.
