World music - Music on many stages - festival weekend in Rudolstadt

Music from South Africa, Japan and many other countries of the world can be heard again at the Rudolstadt-Festival. After the opening concert on Thursday evening with Julian Marley, son of Bob Marley, the colorful hustle and bustle continues in the former residence city. This year, the festival also wants to demonstrate with the country focus on Germany how musically and artistically diverse the music scene is here as well.

Besides concerts on the large and small stages, visitors can listen to various street music at many corners of different streets. The 20,000 permanent tickets for the supposedly largest festival in Germany for Folk-, Roots- and Worldmusic are already sold out. But day tickets for ten Euro for the Innenstadtbereich with street music are still available. Last festival day is on Sunday.
