Various suspected arson incidents in Berlin have led to six autos and two scooters experiencing partial or significant damage. The incident began on Monday evening around 10:15 PM in Uhlandstraße, Wilmersdorf, where the covers of two scooters were intentionally set ablaze, as reported by the authorities. Firefighters and police personnel doused the flames. Probes are ongoing for potential criminal activities in every case.
Approximately 15 minutes past 11:00 PM, two cars in Sântisstraße, Tempelhof, went up in flames, with one totally incinerated. A nearby vehicle also suffered damage. Firefighters controlled the blaze. A tree was also affected. Around 1:10 AM, two cars and trash bins in an inner courtyard in Fasanenstraße, Charlottenburg, ignited and were completely consumed. A third car was additionally scorched due to the intensity of the flame's heat. Fortunately, the firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading further.
The two cars in Sântisstraße were the latest vehicles to be affected, joining the list of damaged vehicles, which now includes six autos and two scooters. Despite the efforts of the firefighters, a nearby car also suffered damage in the Sântisstraße incident.
