Heavy rainfall in Rosenheim and Miesbach, Upper Bavaria caused significant disruption to roads and overfilled rivers on Monday evening. The South Police Headquarters in Upper Bavaria has been receiving multiple emergency calls due to the storm, according to their spokesperson.

A torrential rainstorm has mainly caused the Mangfall in Rosenheim and the Inn at Wasserburg to rise significantly. As a result, a district of Miesbach will be evacuated due to the increasing floodwater. "We're amazed at how the situation is unfolding," said the official spokesperson.

The German Meteorological Service (DWD) has issued a warning for the district of Oberbayern until Monday evening for extremely heavy rainfall. Additionally, the DWD has warned for the districts of Niederbayern and Oberpfalz on Tuesday evening and night of severe thunderstorms. There's a potential risk to life and safety, such as lightning strikes, falling branches, and large objects like roof tiles, they stated.
