- Multiple schools confront fresh threats of explosive devices
This mornin', numerous schools in Thuringia got bomb warnings. As of now, at least two institutes in Erfurt, another in Gräfenroda (Ilm region), one in Gera, and one in Jena have been involved, stated a rep from the state police HQ. There might be additional schools added to the list. The manner in which these warnings were delivered hasn't been revealed yet. More info on the precautions taken will be shared soon.
In the past few weeks, there have been numerous bomb threat incidents at Thuringian schools. About a week ago, a grand total of 13 schools were sent these threats through an email broadcast. Following police inspections, all the affected schools were given the green light.
The bomb warnings have caused uncertainty and disruption among students and staff at these Thuringian schools. Despite the ongoing investigation, parents are urged to pick up their children early from school as a precautionary measure.
