- Multiple Hundreds of Inflamed Balls Require Extended Firefighting Efforts
A bunch of circular hay bundles went up in flames in Lunden, located in Dithmarschen. The fire department was notified approximately at midnight on Saturday, as stated by a police representative. The firefighting efforts were still in progress come morning time. It was said that the flames had consumed between 300 to 400 bundles of hay.
The intense flames illuminated the night sky in Lunden, causing quite a spectacle. Despite the tireless efforts of the firefighters, several unscorched hay bundles continued to smolder.
