"MultiPhonics" for young music at two locations in Magdeburg
In Magdeburg's Gesellschaftshaus and the "Georg Philipp Telemann" conservatory, everything will revolve around up-and-coming musicians and composers over the next few days. After the opening of the "MultiPhonics - Days of Young Music" festival, there will be several concerts until Sunday. According to the organizers, concerts by the Saxony-Anhalt Composers' Class and the Halle Composers' Class are also on the programme. The state's biennial youth composition competition will also be part of the festival with its prizewinners' concert, according to the organizers.
The 30-strong pop ensemble from the "Georg Philipp Telemann" Conservatory under the direction of Marius Moritz will open the festival. Special arrangements of pop songs and original works will be performed. Students from the Manhattan School of Music are expected to be special guests at the "MultiPhonic" festival. A workshop and a concert are planned with them.
The festival will feature concerts showcasing the talents of various music ensembles, including the Saxony-Anhalt Composers' Class and Halle Composers' Class. Music lovers can look forward to listening to original works and special arrangements of popular songs performed by the 30-strong pop ensemble from the "Georg Philipp Telemann" Conservatory.
