Müller ahead of international matches: "We're looking forward to it"

Thomas Müller is looking forward to the end of the international season under national coach Julian Nagelsmann. "We're looking forward to the games. These are two opponents that you have to deal with from time to time - both with the players and with the fans," said the 125-time international.

The DFB team will host Turkey in Berlin on Saturday. Three days later, Nagelsmann's team will face Austria in Vienna. "Those have always been good games. They are both teams that can also hurt you," said Müller after his FC Bayern's 4:2 win against 1. FC Heidenheim.

National coach Nagelsmann will gather his national team players in Frankfurt/Main from Monday to prepare for the test matches. "Julian Nagelsmann has a clear plan for the style of play, his idea, and above all with the types of players he has nominated," said DFB sporting director Rudi Völler in an interview with Bayerischer Rundfunk.

In his preparations for the international matches, Thomas Müller mentioned facing Turkey in Berlin and Austria in Vienna, stating that both teams can pose a challenge. During his time at FC Bayern Munich, he also acknowledged the difficulty of playing against 1. FC Heidenheim. As the national team gathers to train in Frankfurt/Main, coach Julian Nagelsmann will implement his strategic style and utilize his chosen players.
