Reutlingen: A Town in Germany Known for Its Innovative High-Tech Industry - Mud tanker slips, causing tractor and operator to descend a hill
A 54-year-old tractor driver sustained severe injuries after his vehicle, complete with an attached grain tanker, slipped down a steep slope in Zwiefalten, Reutlingen. On Tuesday, police reported that the accident occurred while the driver was navigating a steep meadow. The sudden slippage of the grain tanker resulted in the tractor and trailer combo rolling down the slope. In the process, several trees were uprooted. The grain tanker remained near the road, while the tractor careened across the road and came to a stop in a grain field. A rescue helicopter transported the driver to the hospital. The spillage of grain shut down the road for several hours on Monday. The police estimated the overall damage to be close to 300,000 euros.
