Handball Bundesligist MT Melsungen loans the Spanish left winger Ian Barrufet from European top club FC Barcelona for the upcoming season. According to MT, the 20-year-old talent is supposed to provide relief and variability.

The Nordhessens react to the injury crisis of the previous season. "Given the additional tasks in the European League in the 2024/25 season, the responsible persons had to act," the MT stated. One wants to prevent personnel bottlenecks at all costs, it was further stated.
