Stammbach - Motorcyclist seriously injured after collision with truck
From an unknown cause, a 43-year-old man collided with high speed into the back of an LKW trailer. Afterwards, the man slid roughly 100 meters across the road and sustained severe injuries. The motorcycle slid a bit further.
The 51-year-old LKW driver remained unharmed. At the Saturday morning accident, property damage of approximately 13,000 Euro occurred. The road was briefly closed.
On the following Sunday, intense traffic built up due to the accident in Bavaria. Witnesses reported seeing a motorcyclist involved in another collision nearby. Police in Upper France were called to manage the situation. Accidents in the area seem to be an unfortunate recurrence, leading to concerns about road safety.
