- Motorcyclist killed in car crash
A motorcycle rider succumbed to his severe injuries five days after a crash with a car near Altmannstein (Eichstätt district). The 66-year-old died in a specialized clinic on Thursday, following the collision on Saturday a week ago, police reported.
According to the reports, the man lost control of his motorcycle in a right curve on a wet road, crashed, and slid onto the opposite lane, where he collided with an oncoming car driven by an 80-year-old.
The motorcycle that the rider was operating collided with an oncoming car, causing the fatal accident. After the incident, the damaged car had to be towed away.
