Accident - Motorcyclist fatally injured on federal highway
A motorcycle rider has fatalely crashed while overtaking a truck on a federal road in the Landkreis Goslar. According to the police report, the accident occurred in the afternoon on a Friday. The 24-year-old motorcycle driver collided head-on with an oncoming car during the overtaking maneuver on B241 between Clausthal-Zellerfeld and Buntenbock. He died at the scene of the accident.
The federal road was temporarily closed at the accident site for rescue operations and investigation.
