A 25-year-old motorcycle rider died in a collision with a small truck at Bornhöved (Segeberg district). According to the police, the woman was riding her motorcycle on the Bundesstraße 430 towards Neumünster on Tuesday, as stated on Wednesday. Simultaneously, a small truck turned from the A21 onto the Bundesstraße. The collision occurred in the merging area, the police added. The young woman died at the scene. The 34-year-old driver of the small truck suffered a shock and was taken to the hospital precautionarily. The accident scene was closed for several hours.
