Traffic - Motorcyclist dies in accident near Hanover

Through the force of the collision, the 43-year-old was thrown back onto the roadway by the police and remained there. A 29-year-old woman, who was driving her car behind the motorcyclist, observed the accident and notified the emergency services. She drove over debris with her car. The woman remained unharmed. The police estimate the total damage at around 20,000 Euro. The investigation is ongoing.

The motorcyclist, hailing from Lower Saxony, was involved in a severe accident on the main road leading to Hamelin. Despite efforts by the police to intervene, the impact forced him off his bike and onto the asphalt. Witnessing the incident was a 29-year-old woman from the same region, who proceeded to report the accident to traffic officials in Hanover. Two potential contributing factors to this incident were the high-speed traffic and the presence of debris on the road.
