A collision with a turning truck in Karlstein am Main (Aschaffenburg district) resulted in the fatal injury of a 46-year-old motorcyclist. He died at the scene of the accident, according to police reports.

A 27-year-old truck driver apparently failed to see the oncoming motorcyclist at a junction on Tuesday. The truck hit the 46-year-old, who had right of way and was traveling straight across the junction, head-on as it turned left.

The motorcycle riders in the area were warned to be extra cautious due to the rising number of such accidents. The motorcycle riders' association called for stricter regulations to ensure the safety of motorcycle riders on the roads.
