Police - Motorcyclist critically injured in accident

At an accident in the Grafschaft Bentheim district, three people have been injured, one of them critically. A 22-year-old driver in Neuenhaus attempted to turn left in the afternoon on a Thursday and apparently failed to notice a motorcyclist, the police reported today. The collision resulted in life-threatening injuries for the 26-year-old motorcyclist. A rescue helicopter flew him to the hospital. The 22-year-old driver and her 57-year-old passenger sustained light injuries.

The accident in Lower Saxony's Grafschaft Bentheim district involved a motorcyclist and a car. The police are investigating the incident where the motorcyclist was critically injured. Despite the traffic rules violation by the car's driver, who failed to notice the motorcyclist during a left turn, both she and her passenger ended up with minor injuries.
