A 60-year-old man had an accident with his motorcycle on the island of Rügen and was severely injured. The biker had been on the road between Bobbin and Sagard in the afternoon on a Saturday, when he veered off the road to the right. He fell into the road ditch and flipped over. An ambulance took the man with serious injuries to the hospital. The cause of the accident is unclear, according to the police.

The accident occurred in the scenic Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania region, specifically on the popular island of Rügen. Despite the traffic regulations, the motorcyclist had an unfortunate incident near Sassnitz. Due to this accident, the roads around Bobbin and Sagard have seen increased police presence to ensure safety for other motorists.
