An incident in Bremen, involving a police car colliding with a 33-year-old's e-scooter over the weekend, continues to occupy the police. "There is an internal investigation into this," a police spokesman said when asked. Prior to this, a video had appeared on the X platform, supposedly showing the collision. Several media outlets picked up the story, questioning whether it might have been an excessive use of force.

In the short video, a police van with its lights on can be seen driving past a scooter rider, then turning right and blocking his path. The man collides with the right side of the vehicle and falls to the ground. Around 5:55 AM, the Bremen police issued a press release stating that a suspect had been provisionally arrested in the city center following an alleged case of sexual harassment in the railway station district.

According to this report, the man had ridden past a 19-year-old on his e-scooter in the city center, suddenly stopped, and inappropriately touched her buttocks. The woman's dress is said to have ridden up. Passersby reportedly alerted a nearby police patrol. According to the statement, "officers were able to stop the fleeing suspect near the train station with an intervention vehicle." No one was injured.

In addition to the internal investigation into the incident, the suspect is also being investigated for sexual harassment.
