Traffic - Motorcycle parade in Wernigerode for more road safety

In Wernigerode, motorcycle riders want to draw attention to the traffic safety theme with a parade. Over 1000 employees and workers of the expert organization Dekra are expected on 850 motorcycles on Saturday morning, according to an announcement. Motorcycle riders are still being overlooked all too often. Even traffic lights do not always suffice. Therefore, Dekra wants to sensitize all traffic participants with this action for these dangers.

The parade with the title "Safety through Visibility" is the highlight of the annual Dekra Motorcycle Meeting, which was raised from the baptismal font in Ballenstedt in the Harz in 1993, it was stated.

The parade aimed at promoting road safety involves over 1000 motorcyclists from DEKRA, who will participate in the event in Wernigerode on Corso. The action serves to draw attention to the overlooked risks faced by motorcycle riders, even at traffic lights. Saxony-Anhalt's road safety initiative receives further support with this DEKRA-led demonstration in the traffic environment.
