A motorcycle rider collided with a camper van while overtaking on a circular road in Heiningen, district of Göppingen. The 26-year-old driver was seriously injured, according to a police spokesperson. His life was not in danger at the current moment.

According to initial findings, the motorcycle rider attempted to overtake a truck on Thursday. While doing so, he noticed the oncoming camper van, the police reported. As a result of the collision, the rider was thrown backwards and collided with another car.

A rescue helicopter transported the 26-year-old with severe injuries to a hospital. The 70-year-old driver of the camper van and the 25-year-old driver of the car were unharmed. The road was completely closed following the accident.

The collision occurred on a county road in the Göppingen district of Baden-Württemberg. The motorcyclist was trying to overtake traffic on a circular road, which led to the unfortunate accident with the camper van. Despite serious injuries, the motorcyclist's life was not immediately threatened. Following the accident, police advised motorists to avoid the area due to heavy traffic diversions.
