- Mother calls police after fight over pocket money
A mother in Erfurt called the police due to a heated argument with her son over the amount of pocket money. The 15-year-old expressed his frustration over what he considered to be an insufficient amount by damaging furniture in his room and throwing objects around, as the police reported. Since he refused to calm down, the mother alerted the officers.
The police were able to mediate a clarifying conversation between the two "negotiating parties" at the scene on Saturday evening, referring to it as "wage negotiations" in their report. No one was injured.
The exact terms of the agreement and the pocket money offer that had previously angered the teenager remain unknown, as a police spokesperson could not provide details. However, it was noted that it is very rare for parents to call the police in such a situation.
