A woman and her one-year-old son were severely injured in their apartment in Berlin-Friedrichsfelde by a man. The 43-year-old mother and the man, whom she knew casually, got into an argument Wednesday evening in the Sewanstraße, as police reported. During the argument, the man is said to have injured the woman and her son, whom she was holding, with a dangerous object. The woman's four-year-old daughter remained unharmed.
According to police, the man fled the scene. The woman and her son were taken to a hospital for treatment, and the four-year-old was handed over to the children's emergency service. Police did not provide further details about the injuries or the background and referred to ongoing investigations.
