Aarbergen - Mother and son attacked: Man in custody
Six days after the attack on a mother and her son in the Rheingau-Taunus district, the police have taken the alleged perpetrator into custody. The 51-year-old from Aarbergen is being investigated for attempted murder, the police in Wiesbaden announced on Wednesday. He allegedly injured a mother and son with a sharp object on a footpath in Aarbergen-Hausen last Wednesday evening; the wounds were later treated on an outpatient basis. After the alleged crime, the man fled and was arrested on Tuesday evening in the Rückershausen district. According to the statement, it is said to have been a "domestic dispute". The police did not give any further details.
