Berlin-Mitte - Mother and child hit by car and injured
A woman and her three-year-old child have been injured in an accident in Berlin-Mitte. A driver hit the two with his car on Wednesday afternoon, police said on Thursday morning. According to initial findings, the 58-year-old was driving on Mollstraße and hit the 26-year-old woman and her child as they were crossing the junction with Otto-Braun-Straße.
The woman was injured in the head as a result of the collision. The child suffered a whiplash injury and injuries to an arm and leg, among others. Both were taken to hospital. The cause of the accident was initially unclear and under investigation.
