Moscow: Phone call with US Defense Secretary to reduce "escalation risk"

A Pentagon spokesperson, Sabrina Singh, told journalists that Austin emphasized the "importance of maintaining communication lines" with Moscow during the conflict in Ukraine and shortly after the NATO summit in Washington.
