On Wednesday, the terror trial against the alleged "Reichsbürger" group centered on Heinrich XIII. Prince Reuß carried on in Frankfurt am Main with more witness testimonies. A detective from the Criminal Investigation Department took the stand and discussed the financial aspects of the Frankfurt entrepreneur Reuß.

The informant mainly addressed his examination of the "Reuss Group," emphasizing responsibility for tracing assets. This involved examining land registry entries, real estate, company, and business shares.

He revealed that Reuß allegedly controlled a number of British companies' accounts. However, he could not conclusively determine, "this company is involved in this and that business field," he clarified. The detective also spoke about properties linked to Reuß, such as those in Thuringia. In total, four witnesses had been scheduled for the day's proceedings, and the questioning lasted approximately three hours.

A second witness, a chief inspector at the Federal Criminal Police Office, delivered testimony regarding the search of Reuß's place of business during the December 2022 raid on the "Reichsbürger" group. He described discovering numerous file folders and extensive piles of paper documents during the search. These documents included folders labeled with terms like "Tribunal List," "Allies," and "Sovereignty of the FRG." There were many folders displaying these signs, he stated.

Furthermore, the witness mentioned uncovering documentation pertaining to conspiracy theories, communications with ideological leanings, and manuscripts on "the real FRG" and "total catastrophe."

During the search, significant quantities of long-lasting food were found, which may indicate preparation for a scenario where vital supplies would no longer be available - for example, a crate containing whole grain bread cans. Additional supplies for water purification and preservation were discovered. In a chest, Nazi devotional objects were uncovered, according to the defense, including a family book. Moreover, Russian currency and satellite telephones were located among the miscellany. A total of eight moving boxes were confiscated.

The Frankfurt trial continued, with nine individuals facing charges of belonging to a terrorist organization or supporting one. The prosecution alleges that a coup was in the works. The indictment asserts that the defendants intentionally endangered lives, and in the basement, they were said to have already constructed infrastructure for their own state order, with Reuß serving as the head of state. The rule of innocence until proven guilty applies to the defendants until the final verdict is handed down.

The previous day, the court focused on crucial details about Reuß's personal relationships, including company participations, internet presence, clubs, the number of his automobiles, and his financial accounts, properties, and residences.

The defense had previously dismissed the charges brought by the prosecution multiple times. Reuß expressed his desire to speak during the trial, the defense confirmed on Tuesday. The precise time when he would address the court is still undisclosed.
