- More than 80 headstones in New Cemetery contaminated
Unknown perpetrators have defaced several gravestones at the New Cemetery in Potsdam by smearing them with feces. A cemetery employee notified the police on Monday morning, as the authority reported. According to police, 81 contaminated gravestones were found on site. Evidence was secured. The extent of damage could not initially be determined. The criminal police are seeking witness information.
