Museum - More than 400,000 guests: Kunsthalle takes stock of the year

With more than 400,000 visitors, the Hamburger Kunsthalle has already exceeded its overall forecast for 2023 at the beginning of December. By December 1, the museum had counted 18,000 more visitors than in the entire previous year, as the Kunsthalle announced on Monday. The good result is due, among other things, to the socially relevant exhibitions and the art research work taking place at the same time. In addition to visitors, many artists and specialist colleagues were also addressed.

"This makes us proud and ambitious for the coming years. The Kunsthalle proves that it really is there for everyone," said the director of the Kunsthalle, Alexander Klar.
