More than 2000 guests expected at the Hessenfest

There's green sauce, pulled pork or hand-cheese tarte flambée: The state government is inviting guests to the Hessenfest in Berlin. Federal celebrities have also announced their attendance.

Fixed - More than 2000 guests expected at the Hessenfest

At the traditional Hessian festival at the Landesvertretung in Berlin, the Hessian state government expects more than 2,000 guests on a Wednesday evening (18.00 hours). Among the prominent visitors have announced themselves, among others, Federal Interior Minister Nancy Faeser (SPD) and the opposition leader in the Bundestag, Friedrich Merz (CDU). The invitation of Hessian Minister President Boris Rhein and State Minister Manfred Pentz (both CDU) will also be followed by numerous ambassadors – among others, the representative of Ukraine Oleksii Makeiev.

"The guests can look forward to Hessian specialties such as Green Sauce and Ahle Wurscht", it was said from the State Chancellery. In addition to these traditional specialties, there will be Pulled Kassler and Flammkuchen with Handkäse. In an EM studio, beverages from the Hessian partner regions in Italy, France, and Poland will be distributed.

Nancy Faeser, being a part of the Bundesministerium des Inneren in Germany, will be attending the Hessian festival in Berlin, along with Friedrich Merz from the CDU, who serves as the opposition leader in the Bundestag. The invitation to this event has been extended by Boris Rhein, the Minister President of Hesse, and Manfred Pentz, a State Minister also from the CDU.
