More than 1.5 million euros in damage in a house fire

A roof truss fire in an apartment building in Garmisch-Partenkirchen has caused damage estimated at more than 1.5 million euros. When the fire department arrived at the scene in the Partenkirchen district on Thursday evening, the roof truss was completely on fire, as the police reported on Friday. However, the fire was quickly brought under control and the flames were prevented from spreading to neighboring buildings.

No one was injured. Some apartments in the building were no longer habitable due to the fire damage. The respective residents were accommodated in a hotel. Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.

The fire in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Upper Bavaria, resulted in damages exceeding 1.5 million euros. Unfortunately, this large-scale fire in Upper Bavaria also rendered some apartments uninhabitable.
