Saxony-Anhalt - More influenza cases - Covid wave stagnates
The number of reported cases of influenza has continued to rise significantly in Saxony-Anhalt. Last week, 108 cases were recorded across the state, 44 of them in Magdeburg and 20 in the neighboring Salzland district, according to the State Office for Consumer Protection in its latest weekly report. There had been 52 cases the previous week and 39 the week before that. The Covid-19 wave had stagnated in the past week, the report continued. A total of 1955 cases had been recorded. The patients were between 0 and 102 years old, 145 were treated in hospital. 14 deaths were recorded.
