Champions League - More absences: Coman and Mazraoui also missing for the finish

FC Bayern Munich will also have to do without Kingsley Coman and Noussair Mazraoui for the end-of-year spurt. As the German soccer champions announced the day after the 1-0 win at Manchester United, they will have to do without the duo "in the coming games". Winger Coman, who was the goalscorer in England, suffered a torn muscle fiber in his right calf. Full-back Mazraoui suffered a torn muscle bundle in his left calf.

In the last two games of the year, FC Bayern will host VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga's top match on Sunday, followed by a visit to VfL Wolfsburg next Wednesday.

Munich will be without winger Serge Gnabry and central defender Matthijs de Ligt as well as reserve Bouna Sarr. Substitute goalkeeper Sven Ulreich was also absent recently. Coach Thomas Tuchel will have to make it into the winter break with a small squad.
