Moderate crowd participation in Thuringia midday

The election overseer notices a substantial increase in voter participation compared to the previous European and local elections in June. During those elections, voter turnout was reportedly at 24.3% by noon.

Voting stations in Thuringia will wrap up at 6:00 PM. Despite the AfD's leading position, the heightened voter turnout this time might significantly impact the election outcomes. Comparatively, the voter turnout at noon during the previous European and local elections in June was only 24.3%.
