Missing American and Australian tourists' remains discovered in Mexico confirmed as their bodies.
American Jack Carter Rhoad and Australian brothers Jake and Callum Robinson's family members were able to recognize their bodies without needing any genetic tests, stated the Attorney General's office in Baja California on a Sunday update.
Three individuals who were earlier questioned about their whereabouts have now been captured, as they're suspected of kidnapping. One of the suspects has been identified as Jesús Gerardo "N", also known as "El Kekas".
The three friends set out on a surfing and camping trip in the vicinity of the town of Ensenada, which is roughly 60 miles south of Tijuana's border city. They disapeared on April 29th, leading authorities to believe that they were murdered.
This is an ongoing news event, with more updates to follow.
