At the weekend, Brandenburg experienced light rain and thunderstorms that prompted numerous calls to the fire department in its south-western region. Numerous train schedules were also disrupted due to inclement weather.

The weekend's weather events in Brandenburg were uneventful, with no significant issues reported. The fire department in Lusatia region had to tackle a few small incidents, but everything was under control by Monday morning, according to regional offices.

The rail system was also unaffected, with no major disruptions reported. "There were no weather-related problems in the east," explained a German Railways representative. However, they did experience some localized issues with regional trains caused by trees falling onto the tracks.

The southwest of Brandenburg saw firefighters clearing away fallen branches and trees from the roads. In general, the situation remained peaceful throughout the region.

A spokesperson for the fire department in Potsdam commented that they experienced very little in terms of incidents, saying, "The cup has passed us by."

A train breakdown was reported between Berlin-Ostkreuz and Königs Wusterhausen, according to German Railways.
