Former Secretary of State - Ministry of Social Affairs presents files on Samadzade earlier
The Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of Social Affairs is now submitting the files requested by the Interior and Legal Affairs Committee relating to the resignation of former State Secretary Marjam Samadzade earlier than announced. An agreement had been reached for the week beginning December 11th, SPD MP Niclas Dürbrook announced after a meeting of the Parliamentary Conciliation Committee on Thursday. "This ensures that it will be possible to take a look at the files before the Christmas break." At the same time, the parliamentary groups agreed to extend the period for inspection by 14 days. "I am delighted that a solution has been found in the Parliamentary Agreement Committee and would like to thank everyone involved," said Dürbrook.
The background to this is the unanimous request by the Committee on Internal Affairs and Legal Affairs to submit all files and correspondence relating to Samadzade' s departure as State Secretary to Parliament. According to the state parliament's rules of procedure, this must be done immediately. However, Dürbrook criticized the fact that it was only nine days after the request that the chairman of the committee had received confirmation of the request to submit the files and that the submission had been announced for the week before Christmas. The SPD parliamentary group then requested a meeting of the Parliamentary Conciliation Committee.
