An as yet unknown participant in the environmental lottery Bingo in the district of Heidekreis has won millions. The winning numbers drawn on Sunday matched those on the ticket of the participant in three rows - that brought more than 1.6 million euros in prize class 1, as Lotto Niedersachsen announced on Monday.

The ticket was purchased on Thursday before the draw at a retailer in the Heidekreis district. The odds of winning class 1 in Bingo are low - according to Lotto Niedersachsen, the probability is around 1 in 1.3 million.
