Lotto - Millions in winnings for two lucky winners
Two lucky numbers from Lower Saxony and Berlin each picked six correct numbers in the Lotto-Classic "6 out of 49" and won approximately 2.6 million Euro each. Both had their six crosses on their play slip in the right place on Wednesday and received 2,588,756.50 Euro each, Lottery Niedersachsen announced.
To crack the jackpot, which will be filled with around 30 million Euro in the next drawing, both winners were only missing the Supernumber. The chance for the jackpot in the lottery is extremely low - it is approximately 1:140 million according to Lottery Niedersachsen.
The winner from Lower Saxony submitted his play slip with twelve selected fields and a one-week validity at a sales point in the Landkreis Emsland, the lottery company reported. In the current year, there have been 89 winnings of at least 100,000 Euro in a lottery in Lower Saxony - eight of them in the millions range.
- Interested individuals in Hanover, part of Lower Saxony, have the opportunity to participate in various Games of Chance, including the Lotto-Classic "6 out of 49," offering the chance to potentially win millions like the recent winners.
- Despite missing out on the Supernumber by a slight margin, two contestants from Hanover and Berlin in Lower Saxony and Berlin respectively, each pocketed a significant sum of 2.6 million Euro, owe to their success in the Lotto-Classic "6 out of 49."
