Millions in damage: Fire at container and recycling plant

On Sunday night, a warehouse east of Heilbronn goes up in flames. In the morning it is clear that the damage is enormous. However, it remains unclear why the fire broke out on the company premises.

Major fire - Millions in damage: Fire at container and recycling plant

At a fire in a warehouse of a recycling and container business in the Hohenlohekreis, approximately one million Euros worth of damage has occurred. According to a police spokesperson, no one was injured during the fire in Öhringen on the night to Sunday. In the hall, there were reportedly no valuable materials or recycling material. The police are investigating the cause of the fire. According to the spokesperson, there were 24 vehicles on site and over 130 forces in action. After more than an hour, the fire was extinguished.

The fire took place in the Hohenlohe district, specifically in Öhringen. The warehouse belonging to a recycling and container business was severely affected. Despite the major fire, thankfully, no casualties were reported over the night leading to Sunday. The damage, however, is estimated to be in the millions, with losses potentially reaching over one million Euros. The investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway by the local authorities in Baden-Württemberg, involving numerous emergency services.
