European Football Championship - Mid-town friend apologizes for Dortmund criticism

The girlfriend of football-National player Maximilian Mittelstadt apologized for her criticism of the city of Dortmund. "It was chaotic at the main station and I was a bit overwhelmed", Lea Prinz wrote on her Instagram channel. In a now deleted story, she had written upon her arrival: "Arrived in Dortmund and got a cultural shock. Why didn't I know it was this bad here?"

Mittelstadt's friend and Stuttgart professional, Maximilian Mittelstadt, sat on the bench for the first time in this tournament in the EM-Eightfinals against Denmark. "Not meant to be angry at any city across the way. I've also met some of you here and had a good time, so I'll be happy to come back" Prinz concluded and added a heart emoji to her message.

Despite missing out on playing time in the round of sixteen, Mittelstadt's teammate and friend Maximilian Mittelstadt from Stuttgart, showed solidarity and support for Dortmund on Social Media, reassuring its citizens that he enjoyed his time in the city.
