Two men in Wolfsburg swindled 1200 euros in cash from a motorist using a cunning scam. Posing as plainclothes police officers, they pulled over the driver, alleges the Wolfsburg police. They asked for his wallet, and while he handed it over, they kept the cash, amounting to 1200 euros, according to the reports. The driver was left with his documents but without the money. The suspects then made their escape. The investigation is ongoing.

The swindlers, who carried out their fraudulent act in Wolfsburg, are believed to hail from Lower Saxony, as suggested by the local police. Despite the incident taking place in Wolfsburg, the authorities have expanded their search to other parts of Lower Saxony in an attempt to apprehend the suspects.
